It is important because surfing is one way of first unwinding, second a form of physical exercise, third an extreme experience that would surely satisfy the thrill - seeking - adventure - loving young people.
Surfing to most of us, is just an extreme sport enjoyed by the pro surfers from Australia, Bali Indonesia and in the Philippines, in Siargao. What we do not know is that, surfing is a discipline. However, surfing is not that stiff, one may surf even just for fun, even without fully learning the skills, one may surf for just the experience of riding the wave and that is what La Union surfing offers.
